Terms of Service

Last updated 14 September 2026 · Draft v0.1

These draft terms govern access to and use of PodPlex during the public beta. By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to them. Because PodPlex is in beta, both the product and these terms are evolving.

1. The service

PodPlex is a multi-tenant platform that gives teams role-based AI skills powered by open-source models. During the beta, features may change, pause, or be removed, and availability is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis without an uptime guarantee.

2. Accounts and workspaces

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
  • A workspace owner is responsible for the members they invite and for the roles (owner, admin, member, viewer) they assign.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your workspace.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service unlawfully, or to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
  • attempt to breach tenant isolation, probe, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
  • resell, sublicense, or expose the underlying models as a competing API; or
  • circumvent plan limits, quotas, or usage metering.

4. Plans, billing, and the beta

PodPlex plans are priced per workspace: Free ($0), Starter ($29/mo), Pro ($79/mo), and Team ($199/mo), available monthly or annually (two months free on annual). Each plan includes a monthly message allowance; reaching it results in a hard block with an upgrade prompt rather than surprise overage charges.

During the public beta, paid features may be granted at no charge and no payment is taken until monetization begins. When monetization starts we will give notice, and non-converting workspaces will be moved to the Free plan with their data retained.

5. Your content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you and your team submit (prompts, files, skills, and outputs). You grant PodPlex the limited license needed to host and process that content to provide the service. PodPlex and its open-source model partners do not train foundation models on your content. PodPlex retains all rights in the platform itself.

6. AI output

AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it. PodPlex does not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

7. Third-party services

PodPlex routes inference to third-party open-source model hosts and integrates with optional third-party services (for example email, analytics, support, and CRM). Your use of those services through PodPlex may also be subject to their terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using PodPlex and delete your account or workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service. On deletion, data is removed in line with the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The beta service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, PodPlex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the beta. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Governing law and venue will be finalized during legal review (expected: Ireland, EU). Questions: legal@podplex.app.
