This draft explains the cookies and browser storage PodPlex uses, and how you control the optional ones. Essential storage keeps you signed in and remembers your preferences; analytics and support tools only load after you consent.
These are required for PodPlex to work and do not need consent:
podplex_token — keeps you signed in.podplex_user, podplex_workspace_id, podplex_workspace_name — remember your active workspace.podplex_theme — remembers your light/dark preference.podplex_cookie_consent — remembers your choice on this banner. When you accept, we load PostHog to understand which features are used and where the product can improve. These cookies are not set until you consent, and the data is used in aggregate.
When you accept, we load Intercom so you can reach support from inside the app. Intercom sets cookies to keep conversations continuous across visits.
podplex_cookie_consent value in your browser's site storage and reload — the banner returns.Rejecting optional cookies does not affect essential functionality; analytics and support simply stay off.
We may update this policy as the product and its tools change. See the Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled more broadly, or email privacy@podplex.app.
